November 4, 2004 Main Item on the agenda this week is sales skills. People make buying decisions emotionally and back up their decisions with logic. If you try to sell somebody on a "logical" idea, you will almost always fail. Fear and Greed are universal hot buttons, and they are the buttons you need to press to get people excited about offering or buying our cards. (See Best Practices for more) Resources: Want to brush up on your skills or get some new perspectives? Here are some sites we recommend for general sales ideas: http://www.salestrainingcamp.com/OnSite.htm http://www.justsell.com/home.htm All of them have newsletters that can be very helpful - for both salespeople and sales managers! And here is another great resource - have you ever checked out the MEDIA section of our website? There is a backgrounder, corporate overview, executive staff section, and a history of the company in the press releases. Use it to bone up on your knowledge of the company or to provide information to prospective customers! Operations - we have included some terms and definitions that you need to know before going out on an appointment.
We are down to two terminals left from our initial order from QComm. If you want to get one of these, now is the time to give us a call and get it reserved! Prices: $50 setup, $15 credit check, and $10 per month. Contact Tom Poston. Contact Numbers As noted on the right, we have two toll-free numbers people can use for card activation and calling WMO Global. Both numbers currently go to the main line at WMO corporate office. 877-786-8636 - Customer Service 888-284-8356 - Activation |
New Number: we have a new phone number for activating cards and customer inquiries. It is 877-786-8636. The other number, 888-284-8356, also works so you can use the stickers that you have in stock now. Do not promote the number on the back of the current cards. New email addresses: If you are reading this, you must have your new WMO address. We highly recommend that you use Outlook or some other email client to check your mail for you regularly, as this is the main conduit for important information! If you haven't yet set up Outlook to get your WMO email, here is a simple walk-through. Click Here. Don't forget that you can access your WMO email in two ways - either through your Outlook (or any other email client) or directly through the web! Click Here to access webmail. (Once arrive at this page you should bookmark it so that you have a shortcut.)You will need to enter your username and password. Click on Log In, then on your upper left will be a place that says "inbox", click on inbox and your messages will show up. Then just click on the messages you want to read. You can delete them, forward them etc. from this screen. If you have any further questions, call Tom.
